🏆 Complete the challenge and earn your digital finisher’s badge

⭐ Be in with a chance to win a Reli Birddy Smart Feeder GreenTough™ or a Reli Birddy Smart Bird House (your choice) for the prize draw winner and a Reli Birddy Smart Bird Bath for 2nd place.

Reli challenges you to grab a coat, embrace autumn’s falling leaves and explore the birds around you. All you need to do is discover and log 5 different bird species before the 15 of Dec to win your digital finisher’s badge and be added to the prize draw.

Too easy? Use the Reli Birddy logo as inspiration and limit yourself to logging birds with blue hues.

Reli are known for creating high-performing AI-powered bird feeders made of eco-friendly materials. So go outside, open your eyes and log birds to go for the prize.

We almost forgot to mention, and this is important. You just need to complete the challenge to be added to the prize draw. It's not about being at the top of the leaderboard - although that does feel nice - it's about birds, fun and logging species; in that order!

This challenge is for anyone with a Birda account. This challenge is for tickable species only. You can read more about tickable species here.

This challenge starts and ends based on the Eastern Standard Time (EST) time zone. All individual species logged globally will count towards this challenge and will be included in any leaderboard placement. All sightings must be logged before midnight on the day the challenge ends.

Be honest with yourself and other birders, but above all, respectful of them and any other outdoor users, everywhere – especially online. If you didn’t see it (or hear it), please don’t put it on Birda.

November Challenge 2024

01 - 30 Nov, 2024
🐦 Log 30 species 📍 Anywhere This November, embrace the changing season and challenge yourself to log 30 bird species. From crisp morning outings to peaceful afternoon strolls, each bird adds to your growing list. With migration in full swing, who knows what feathered travelers you’ll encounter? The race to 30 species is on! This month's bird is the Bearded Reedling, also known as the Bearded Tit, is a small, round bird with striking features and some unique habits! Found mainly in the reed beds of Europe and Asia, this bird has a distinctive “moustache” rather than a beard, which only the males sport. Bearded Reedlings are incredibly flexible; in summer, they eat insects, but in winter, they opt for a diet of seed. They’re also pretty acrobatic, often seen hanging upside down from reeds as they forage!

What Our Birders Say

Just what birding needs
We need more fun in birding, for years it has had a reputation for being up tight and stuffy and only perused by retirees and anoraks. Birda helps change that perception and firmly brings birding into the 21st century! Fun, interactive while still contributing to science and conservation. If you aren’t on it, why not??

The best bird logging app
Birda is honestly the best bird logging app I have seen. I love all the features it has from being able to do a session and log all the birds you see in one sitting, to being able to connect with other birders from all over the globe!

Great app for learning Birds
I’ve been using the app for a couple of months and love it....Someone said it’s like a real life Pokémon Go for birds. They’re not far off! It’s something that the family can do that gets you out and about. Well worth downloading no matter your age.

Great bird recording
For a while I’ve been trying to find an app to easily record bird lists and day out and struggled to find one that I like. Birda is great for this, straightforward and a great community!

Awesome Birding Community
I absolutely love the community aspect of this app. The app is so user friendly and has fun interactive challenges to get you out birding. I’ve tried others but since I’ve started using Birda I’ve not gone back!

Clean and easy to use
Really enjoying this app, it's clean and easy to use. I love the ease of being able to add those one-off birds without starting a whole checklist. I also like the social aspect, like the parts of my Facebook I like, without the ads and junk, just birds. Can't wait to see it become more populated.

Terrific App for Birders
Downloaded Birda around the time my interest in birding was sparked, and it has been a terrific app to help me (1) share my experience, (2) document my sightings, and (3) learn more about birds in general. That said, I also believe Birda is a fantastic app for birders of all experience levels. Great community!
