About

📅 Spend 3 Days Wild

🏆 Complete the challenge and win your digital finisher badge

Our 3 in 30 Days Wild Challenge is back! In support of The Wildlife Trust's annual #30DaysWild event, which encourages people to do one wild thing a day throughout the month of June, we're challenging you to spend 3 of your 30 days birding… or maybe you can do all 30?!

All you need to do is log a new sighting or birding session for 3 seperate days during June 1st - June 30th.

Why wait? Let’s go wild!

Head out, heads up and see how many Days Wild you can accumulate as part of #30DaysWild in the month of June!

This challenge is for anyone with a Birda account. This challenge starts and ends based on the UK time zone. Every day you post a sighting or session will count towards this challenge and will be included in any leaderboard placement. All sightings must be logged before midnight on the day the challenge ends.

Be honest with yourself and other birders, but above all, respectful of them and any other outdoor users, everywhere – especially online. If you didn’t see it (or hear it), please don’t put it on Birda.

What Our Birders Say

Clean and easy to use
Really enjoying this app, it's clean and easy to use. I love the ease of being able to add those one-off birds without starting a whole checklist. I also like the social aspect, like the parts of my Facebook I like, without the ads and junk, just birds. Can't wait to see it become more populated.

A Friendly Place
I love using the bird app, I have a pretty good knowledge of birds. But I do have some gaps in it, so it’s nice to have a safe space to check on a sighting to confirm the species. It’s really enjoyable and I love the badges you can collect. It’s like a real life Pokémon go.

Birding and wellbeing app
Birda is an excellent platform to share your love of Birding and is a great tool of encouragement for a Birding Beginner like me. Birda has a very kind and supportive community of Birding enthusiasts. For me BIRDA is not only a BIRDING but also a WELLBEING App.

Terrific App for Birders
Downloaded Birda around the time my interest in birding was sparked, and it has been a terrific app to help me (1) share my experience, (2) document my sightings, and (3) learn more about birds in general. That said, I also believe Birda is a fantastic app for birders of all experience levels. Great community!

Birda fan
I really enjoy using Birda, all sightings are recorded and photos can be added. There are monthly challenges which help to get you out to record your sightings. The Birda community are great and are happy to help with unidentified bird sightings. Suitable for all ages and experience!
