Old World Parrots

The Psittaculidae family, which includes Old World parrots, is made up of five subfamilies: Agapornithinae, Loriinae, Platycercinae, Psittacellinae, and Psittaculinae. Recognized officially by The Clements Checklist of Birds of the World since 2014 and also by the IOC World Bird List, this group encompasses a diverse range of 192 species dispersed across 53 different genera. These species exhibit a variety of adaptations suited to their environments across the Old World regions.

I’m relatively new to birding as a hobby, and Birda is a great way to keep track off all the species I see. Really enjoying this app, it's clean and easy to use. I love the ease of being able to add those one-off birds without starting a whole checklist. I also like the social aspect, like the parts of my Facebook I like, without the ads and junk, just birds. Can't wait to see it become more populated.
