šŸ† Build healthy habits and earn your exclusive ZEISS Five to Thrive digital finisher’s badge

⭐ Win a pair of awesome ZEISS Conquest HDX binoculars

Forget the gym and start the year with nature, adventure, and discovery! This January, ZEISS challenges you to get outdoors, ignore the cold, and discover a happier you in 2025. The goal is simple: log birds on at least five separate days throughout January and be in with a chance to win a pair of ZEISS’ new Conquest HDX binoculars. Whether it’s a quick morning walk or an afternoon in the park, these five days could be the start of a healthier, happier you.

ZEISS has been helping people explore nature and see its true colours for decades - from intrepid Antarctic explorers to casual weekend birders. Now it’s your turn to thrive. By taking the time to connect with birds, you’ll build healthy habits and discover the joy of birdwatching in a way that’s fun, inspiring, and easy to achieve.

šŸ’” It’s not about winning – it’s about thriving! Everyone who completes the challenge is entered into the prize draw for a chance to win a pair of ZEISS Conquest HDX binoculars. So, step outside, and let’s get birding!

Head out, head up and see how many days you can spend birding in January. You just need to log 5 days within Europe to complete the challenge.

This challenge is for anyone with a Birda account.

This challenge starts and ends based on the UK's GMT time zone. All sightings must be logged before midnight on the day the challenge ends.

Be honest with yourself and other birders, but above all, respectful of them and any other outdoor users, everywhere – especially online. If you didn’t see it (or hear it), please don’t put it on Birda.

Terrific App for Birders
Downloaded Birda around the time my interest in birding was sparked, and it has been a terrific app to help me (1) share my experience, (2) document my sightings, and (3) learn more about birds in general. That said, I also believe Birda is a fantastic app for birders of all experience levels. Great community!

Work together with community
Been loving using this app to log my bird sightings and work together with community members to identify different birds. I've already learned a lot since I started about a month ago!

A great app
Enjoying it immensely and finding it useful too. Recording the different birds and counting them is showing me how the present climate is affecting them all. I've trebled the numbers by planting native hedging. A great app.
