About

๐Ÿฆ Log 75 species

Join the Kruger National Park Challenge 2025, improve your birdwatching, and help with wildlife research in South Africa's famous park. Discover the diverse birds of Kruger National Park. Aim to spot 75 different species by the end of the year!

This challenge is for anyone with a Birda account. This challenge is for tickable species only. You can read more about tickable species here.

This challenge starts and ends based on the SAST time zone. All individual species logged within the Kruger National Park will count towards this challenge and will be included in any leaderboard placement. All sightings must be logged before midnight on the day the challenge ends.

Be honest with yourself and other birders, but above all, respectful of them and any other outdoor users, everywhere โ€“ especially online. If you didnโ€™t see it (or hear it), please donโ€™t put it on Birda.

Great app for beginner twitchers
Iโ€™ve had a passion of photographing birds for a long time now but have only just gotten into proper birdwatching, and this app is brilliant for those just getting started. There is a great sense of community among users and the app is very easy to use and professional. Awesome app altogether
