Checklist Comments: Squeezed in a quick visit via No 37 bus from Trogir! Very pleased to find one of my target species (Pygmy Cormorant) immediately on arrival, roosting on rocks in the pond in front of the old mill. Exploring the paths behind the mill and alongside the adjacent farmland down to the bay yielded other lifers - a singing male Cirl Bunting, a Great Reed Warbler and a fleeing glimpse of a Tawny Pipit which I flushed accidentally from one of the dry irrigation canal beds. Clear sky Temperature: 30°C Wind: Gentle breeze Wind Direction: SW - S Cloud Cover: 0% Humidity: 37 - 39% Sunrise: 5:20am Sunset: 8:38pm Protocol: eBird - Traveling Count Duration (minutes): 89 Number of Observers: 1 Distance Traveled (km): 3.314

I really enjoy using Birda, all sightings are recorded and photos can be added. There are monthly challenges which help to get you out to record your sightings. The Birda community are great and are happy to help with unidentified bird sightings. Suitable for all ages and experience!

A Friendly Place
I love using the bird app, I have a pretty good knowledge of birds. But I do have some gaps in it, so it’s nice to have a safe space to check on a sighting to confirm the species. It’s really enjoyable and I love the badges you can collect. It’s like a real life Pokémon go.
