Hume's bush warbler (Horornis brunnescens) is a species of bush warbler (family Cettiidae). It was formerly included in the "Old World warbler" assemblage.
It is found in the Himalayas of Nepal and India.
It was formerly considered conspecific with the yellow-bellied bush warbler.
The name commemorates the British naturalist Allan Octavian Hume who worked in India.

Learning Birding with Birda

Terrific App for Birders
Downloaded Birda around the time my interest in birding was sparked, and it has been a terrific app to help me (1) share my experience, (2) document my sightings, and (3) learn more about birds in general. This is a really lovely app, for everyone interested in birds - from newbies to old hands.
