Psilopogon asiaticus
The blue-throated barbet (Psilopogon asiaticus) is an Asian barbet native to the foothills of the Himalayas and Southeast Asia. It inhabits lowland and montane forests at elevations of 200β2,000 m. It has bright green, blue and red plumage. The barbets get their name from the bristles which fringe their heavy bills; this species eats fruits and insects.

Clean and easy to use
Really enjoying this app, it's clean and easy to use. I love the ease of being able to add those one-off birds without starting a whole checklist. I also like the social aspect, like the parts of my Facebook I like, without the ads and junk, just birds. Can't wait to see it become more populated.
