Pelicans
The Pelecanidae family, part of the pelecaniform birds, includes both extinct and extant genera: Eopelecanus and Miopelecanus, which no longer exist, and Pelecanus, which is still present today. These birds have been around since the late Eocene epoch and continue to be found in the world now, showcasing their enduring presence through millions of years of evolutionary history.

This is a really lovely app, for everyone interested in birds - from newbies to old hands. There is a very friendly feel to the community and you will genuinely learn a lot as you record your sightings and photos. I’m relatively new to birding as a hobby, and Birda is a great way to keep track off all the species I see.
