Snuggle Possum has seen 8 Pink-footed Shearwaters
Sighting
Checklist Comments: 1 unidentified fur seal. We finally broke out of the fog near the end of this checklist and began to see some diversity. Water temp also climbed slightly from 55-56 to about 59. Interestingly, we had been in a band of water where the dominant species was buller’s shearwater. But near the end of this transect, and on the ensuing transect, the water warmed and we transitioned into an area with more sooties, a nice mix of Arctic tern, Sabine’s Gulls, and some jaegers
