Morning Bird Walk
Quite an eventful short trip out. I was trying a new camera harness that arrived yesterday, it takes the weight quite nicely and leaves the hands free to stuff them in deep pockets out of the cold so it's a thumbs-up for me 👍 A huge flock of chough was spectacular but then a pair of bearded vultures stole the show. I only said to a local farmer yesterday that I hadn't seen any recently and today a couple turned up and flew obligingly overhead.

Downloaded Birda around the time my interest in birding was sparked, and it has been a terrific app to help me (1) share my experience, (2) document my sightings, and (3) learn more about birds in general. I use this app all the time as it’s quick and easy to log individual sightings or whole birding sessions. It’s an excellent way to meet new people and the forum is full of really friendly people. The challenges are a great way to get involved and learn more about birds. Cannot recommend it enough!

This is a really lovely app, for everyone interested in birds - from newbies to old hands. There is a very friendly feel to the community and you will genuinely learn a lot as you record your sightings and photos. There are lots of badges and competitions to keep you engaged, and a host of really useful features.
