Observation Details: 2 at the top of the road and 5 or 6 near the massive fruiting tree where the hornbills were collecting. Barred undertail coverts, pin-tail. Checklist Comments: Found out the night prior that out guide Piak called in ill and was unable to take us to Kaeng Krachan NP. We learned that all the guides were booked and that we would have to bird on our own. We hitched a ride with Games to the the park and she drove us all the way up to Km. 27 where we got out of the truck and hiked up to the top. We then got a ride to Ban Krang Campground and hiked to the third stream crossing before turning around and hiking all the way back. All distance was one way and by foot only (with car distance would have exceeded eBird standards).
