Yellow Flycatchers
The Erythrocercus genus consists of three flycatcher species endemic to Africa, which are grouped in the Erythrocercidae family established in 2012. The species include the Little Yellow Flycatcher (Erythrocercus holochlorus) distributed across Kenya, Somalia, and Tanzania; Livingstone's Flycatcher (Erythrocercus livingstonei) found in Malawi, Mozambique, Tanzania, Zambia, and Zimbabwe; and the Chestnut-capped Flycatcher (Erythrocercus mccallii) with a range that includes several countries from Angola and Cameroon to Uganda. These birds are characterized by their distinctive coloration and can be seen in various habitats within their respective regions.

I use this app all the time as it’s quick and easy to log individual sightings or whole birding sessions. It’s an excellent way to meet new people and the forum is full of really friendly people. The challenges are a great way to get involved and learn more about birds. Cannot recommend it enough!

A Friendly Place
I love using the bird app, I have a pretty good knowledge of birds. But I do have some gaps in it, so it’s nice to have a safe space to check on a sighting to confirm the species. It’s really enjoyable and I love the badges you can collect. It’s like a real life Pokémon go.

We need more fun in birding, for years it has had a reputation for being up tight and stuffy and only perused by retirees and anoraks. Great birding app, good for logging your sightings, also has nice species guide. I'm enjoying the social aspect more than I expected, everyone seems friendly and helps to identify unknown birds. Good mix of newbies and experienced users.
